Would You Take This Job?
Fully remote creative work with a respected medical company offers flexibility and stability, but the specialized industry focus may require a learning curve if you lack medical device experience. Would you jump in—or pass?
If you’re considering it, ask how creative moves through review - does every banner and brochure go through Regulatory/Legal (MLR) and what the typical turnaround is. I cut a launch delay from three weeks to two days by adding claim IDs and source citations on a non‑printing layer in InDesign so reviewers could approve in one pass.
If it’s remote full-time, I’d ask how product‑launch assets move through MLR — on my last med device gig every web banner and IFU icon needed 2–3 rounds and a 5–7 day turnaround. Also check if they’ve got a proper DAM and SKU/UDI versioning, otherwise you’ll drown in last‑minute label tweaks.
