Mastering Texture Mapping for Realism

I’ve been diving deep into texture mapping lately, and it’s incredible how much of a difference it makes in realism… I’m using Blender and found that layering textures can really bring surfaces to life. I’m curious how others approach this — any tips or tricks you swear by for enhancing realism in your models?

I totally agree! I also find that using UV unwrapping efficiently makes a huge difference. Have you tried using any reference images for texture placement? :artist_palette:.
