Logging off improved the work

Last Tuesday around 6:15, I closed my laptop mid-Figma tweak and took a 20-minute walk instead; the comp was fine, my head wasn’t. Came back with one clear decision: ship the simpler layout and spend the saved hour mentoring a junior on the rationale. That small swap did more for my career than another late-night polish — anyone else found a boundary that improved the work?

I set a 6:10pm shutdown alarm; any polish waits for morning. How do you enforce yours?
